Dear Eva On behalf of the church, please thank our cleaner (I don’t know how to spell her name – perhaps you can tell me?), for the excellent work she is doing for us. Many people have commented on the all round improvement in the cleanliness of our premises. I am personally impressed with the transformation every time I enter the building. The church and halls complex are now a pleasant place to enter and use, and when the planned decorating is finished it will be more so, and also I should think, more rewarding to clean and maintain. I’m sorry no one has said this to you before. I never seem to be there at the same time as the cleaner, so have seen her only once, and that was when she first started. People always have something to say when there is a complaint, but are slow to express appreciation for the good things. The carpet cleaning has made a big difference too, especially getting rid of those huge stains, which is (almost) a miracle! My very best wishes, Joan Bayliss |
